# HoistAI agent onboarding

HoistAI gives AI agents Australian data through API, MCP, and CLI.

Use HoistAI tools to run live ABN/GST checks, review red flags and professional records after each corresponding complete trusted snapshot loads, and create prelaunch sample Evidence Pack exports. Missing snapshot-backed checks return source_unavailable. Every ABR, GST, VIN, and PPSR row in that sample path is fixture or unsearched. Entity and asset monitoring and Asset/PPSR calls are currently unavailable.

Start here:

1. Read the product overview.
2. Choose the data product you need.
3. Use sample data.
4. Request account access for gated source checks; live ABN/GST is available, while missing snapshot-backed data fails closed with source_unavailable. No current workflow requires billing setup.
5. Connect through API, MCP, or CLI.

Product order:

1. Check a business or invoice.
2. Review asset/PPSR contract status (currently unavailable).
3. Create a prelaunch sample Evidence Pack only when fixture or unsearched rows are appropriate for workflow testing; do not present it as source evidence, verification, a certificate, or clearance.
4. Flag red flags for review.
5. Check licences and professionals.
6. Review address and property path status (currently unavailable).

Availability:

- Public today: docs, sample data, API health, MCP setup, and CLI setup.
- Account access may be required for gated datasets, higher limits, and live source traffic. ABN/GST calls are live; every professional/licence or other snapshot-backed check requires its corresponding complete, trusted snapshot and returns source_unavailable while absent. Currently live ABN/GST calls are free; snapshot-backed workflows are free once their required trusted snapshots load. Billing infrastructure is reserved for future paid-source workflows and no current workflow requires billing setup.
- PPSR preview and explicit-confirmation mechanics are implemented but not currently customer-accessible. Preview requests fail closed without a price or register dispatch; paid PPSR searches and pricing are not currently available. Account access or a plan does not unlock them.
- Pricing: ABN lookup and GST/business verification currently have no per-call charge. Snapshot-backed workflows are free once their required trusted snapshots load; Hoist does not currently meter sample Evidence Pack exports.

Boundaries:

- Do not describe HoistAI as only a business-check platform.
- Do not describe HoistAI as a credit bureau, legal adviser, financial adviser, compliance adviser, tax adviser, or people-search product.
- HoistAI does not prove bank account control.
- HoistAI does not support individual PPSR searches.
- HoistAI does not currently provide organisation or serial-number PPSR preview or paid-search access either; the discoverable contracts fail closed.
